Boatshed.com realised a long time ago that winning on the web is all about content, that’s why 15 years ago we were writing stories about the first boat that we’d sold, the 100th boat that we’d sold, plus all of the unusual and interesting customers and boats that we’ve been involved with.

We’ve always embraced content creation as a driving force behind our business. Our dynamic HQ team as well as our franchisees have generated thousands of blogs and articles over the years. As we’ve grown up and we now have 63 Boatshed franchises spread across the world, and because we’ve now been involved in 20,000 boat sales, we’re finding things are all a bit busy and we’re getting less time to spend on the creation of cool content. Therefore, we need help.

We’re looking for the ultimate Boatshed blogger who can help us in our quest to keep on creating copious quantities of cool content. The job would really suit someone with a passion for boats, but also with some journalistic flair. Our ideal person would work closely with the HQ team, generating blogs, content and articles across a whole range of different subjects.

Most of the information would be gleaned from our internal data or from information within the Boatshed system and network. For instance, articles such as “A Day in the Life of a Boatshed Broker”, blogs about unusual boats or even unusual customers, telling people about some of the internal Boatshed systems and technology, as well as broadcasting our current successes and interesting info, plus lots of stuff that’s happening across the Boatshed Group. We already have great systems to be able to publish our information, as well as custom built technology for handling email and social media.

The ideal person would be home based, but may want to spend some time with members of the Boatshed team as well as potentially attending some of our events and Boatshed conferences. We’re looking for someone to work approximately 15 hours a week. We’ll supply all the training, assistance and help, plus a bunch of creative ideas, to assist the right candidate.

If you think that this role might be for you, if you have a secret wish to broadcast interesting boat stuff to the rest of the planet, please get in touch. Drop an email to Chrissie Capel at Boatshed HQ (chriscapel@boatshed.com), to make the case for you being the official Boatshed blogger!
