Greetings from Gus! We would like to thank Stephen & Gill for their warm welcome to Boatshed Plymouth. Stephen has stayed on for a short time to help hand over the reigns. This has been an enormous help, especially as we had to hit the ground running last Monday morning. We are certain that Stephen & Gill will be missed very much and we wish them all the very best for the future.

Boatshed have teamed up with professional drone photographers AltiVision to offer a completely new perspective on boats for sale. Launching the products at the PSP Southampton Boat Show, Neil Chapman commented “We have previously done some aerial photography of boats but helicopters and light aircraft make the costs prohibitive. Westerly yachts do not need any introduction from me, as other more qualified experts have already covered this long ago.
It all started with a phone call from a gentleman who told me that he had just succeeded in an eBay auction for a yacht with a bid of just over £35,000. He had noticed, the morning after his euphoric night, that the same yacht was for sale with Boatshed Gibraltar at £110,000. He was beginning to think that maybe there was something amiss. I thought it interesting that when he wanted to reassure himself that he was not being defrauded he turned to the broker! My first inclination was to let him sink as he was now trying to get a brokerage service but had earlier opted for an auction process that dispensed with the broker. However I reconsidered.
