Electrical:
The electrical system consists of a total of 5 batteries:
- 2 batteries (110 Ah, new in 2021) dedicated to the refrigerator.
- 2 batteries (110 Ah, new in 2021) dedicated to the entire boat.
- 1 battery (new in 04/2023) dedicated to engine starting.
It has a 220V network with a standardized NFC 1500 electrical panel and a 12V network. A 12V 220V converter of 600W powers two sockets in the steering cockpit. Additionally, a Quick 25A shore charger is also included.

The last dry dock hull maintenance was carried out at the Castelsarrasin shipyard in September 2019. Our owners keep an up-to-date logbook and maintenance record. They have also compiled a technical file explaining the operation of the boat and its equipment.
A technical inspection was conducted by Sébastien Soisson a mechanic from Aquitaine Navigation in September 2019 (inspection of the hull, rudder, pintles, shaft, seals, etc.)

On the aft deck, a terrace accessible from the inside via a sliding half-circle glass door, a classic feature of Nicols designs, offers a relaxation space. To port of this terrace, there is a gas locker capable of accommodating two standard bottles.
Access to the boat is through the sliding side door to starboard, leading to a large salon with a table easily accommodating 8 people to port. The headroom in the saloon is 1.95m.
To starboard is the boat's kitchen, equipped with a sink, storage, a gas oven, two gas hobs, a 12V extractor hood, and a 12V Isotherme fridge-freezer. Water coming out of the water tank is filtered and purified by the GUZZLE H2O system. A 12V Alden TV and satellite with automatic search (Fransat) are also present, along with a rechargeable 220V battery-operated vacuum cleaner. Ample storage is available with 2 sliding wardrobes and 17 custom-made sliding drawers by our owners.
The interior of the boat, its saloon, 3 cabins, and two bathrooms have been insulated (10 cm incompressible polyurethane) and redone in resin-coated marine plywood (15 mm). Upholstery and curtains were redone in 2021.
Flexible plastic exterior curtains are placed on almost all windows of the boat, providing additional insulation while avoiding condensation. 220V and solar-powered 12V air extractors are present in the 3 cabins, ensuring optimal ventilation.
Heating and air conditioning are provided by 2 reversible climate units ATLANTIC FUJITSU, new in 2020 (one unit dedicated to the saloon and aft cabin, and one unit dedicated to the forward cabin), each with a power of 2.00 kW (cooling) / 2.50 kW (heating) and an energy seasonal coefficient A+++/A+++ (cooling and heating).
During navigation, heating is provided by a Webasto diesel heater and the external heating Autotherm Planar 44D.
Towards the bow, in the same room to port, access from the inside to the foredeck is very secure if you have a pet or children. At the bow, a practical retractable table allows you to enjoy the sun and lie down.
The aft cabin offers a double bed (140x190) and a single bed (0.60x1.90), with a headroom ranging from 1.95m at the highest to 0.92m above the mattress. An ensuite bathroom is equipped with a manual toilet, shower, and sink, with a headroom of 1.95m. Hot water is provided by an instant boiler Quick B3 (40L) operating at 220V at the dock and powered by the engine when navigating (via the heat exchanger).
Towards the bow, there are two forward cabins:
- To port, a double bed (120x185) with a headroom of 1.90m.
- To starboard, a manual toilet, and a shower with sink (1.90m).
At the bow, the last cabin is equipped with a double bed (140x190), with a headroom of 1.85m. In this cabin, there is a wall-mounted 3KG Daewoo washing machine (energy class A++). There is also a space in the forward cabin that can accommodate another washing machine, which can serve as a location for a dishwasher or a dryer. A domestic water pump and a buffer tank with a booster pump provide water to the washing machine without pressure loss.

Nicols 1100 Comfort for sale. Boatshed Midi Canals is pleased to offer for sale this 11 meter Nicols 1100 Comfort River cruiser improved and prepared for year round live aboard use.
The Nicols shipyard is renowned for its quality boats with innovative, clever, and distinctive designs. The user-friendly design, meticulous finishes, and above all, construction designed to withstand the rigors of rental without a license characterise the achievements of this shipyard. This model was launched in 2001. With its two steering positions, it allows navigation in all circumstances and is ideal for river cruising with family or friends, with its three well-separated sleeping areas, each with its own shower and toilet.
This ex-hire boat was sold in 2016 to our owner who renovated it. In addition, our owners have completely transformed and refitted the boat to make it habitable all year round, which they did for a long period. The insulation has been completely redone, 2 reverse cycle air conditioners, insulating exterior shutters, instant water heaters, innverter chargers, to name just a few of these items, are evidence of the boat's transformation into a true modern floating apartment.
The mooring is renewable subject to acceptance by the harbor master's office, at a rate of €1300 per year, including water and waste disposal, plus approximately €32 per month for electricity.
