So, you want to sell your boat? To sell boats to all these people who’ve just clicked on the link above we need boats for sale, which is where you come in. Any boat, big, small, sail or power is fine, the only condition is that it is a used boat, which means we are trying to sell customers YOUR boat, not a new version of the same boat from ourselves. The process of selling your boat with Boatshed Plymouth is relatively simple but will be different from other Brokers you may have used before. The process is as follows… • A Boatshed Plymouth broker or agent will come down to your boat and meet you there. • All the details required for our detailed specifications will be recorded and we will take up to 70 photos – Top Tip: Give the boat a good clean beforehand so she looks her best for the photos! • The details will then be put online for everyone to see, as well as being sent out to many other marine websites. • We manage the listing and promote your boat by featuring it on the home page, sending out information to interested parties and advertising her on local display boards. • We do accompanied viewings. • We do an average of 2.2 physical viewings before the boat sells. • We then manage the whole process from negotiating the deal through to finalising paperwork and boat handover. It’s a No Sale, No Fee process with commission rates based on industry standards. It’s not exclusive either, so you can list the boat with anyone else you like, including other Brokers, and down at the local yacht club. This means we have to work harder than the competition to sell your boat, because we don’t get paid unless we do.
