Broker's Comments
Here is a unique opportunity to purchase a floating business and home all in one. The vessel has been converted into a successful cafe with a licence for 36 covers inside and a further 24 outside on deck. It also has a music licence to midnight and a Liquor Licence with meals. The vessel comes complete with everything required to operate commercially including espresso machine, coffee ginder, soup kettle, filter coffee machine, tea urn, wine cooler, crockery, cutlery, glassware, cash register and much more. The galley and bar are also fully equipped. The commercial area is tastefully decorated with an obvious nautical theme. Solid timber tables and bench seating provide character. There is a large wood burning stove in the cafe to keep the area warm in winter. Currently trading upto £500 per day and with the opportunity to cater for private functions, celebrations, weddings etc.
The onboard private accommodation is basic but could be further improved to make a very comfortable home. It is usable as it is.
The midships deck area is enormous and is currently not utilised but has a working 3 ton crane.
There are vast amounts of dry storage areas under the foredeck, down below the main saloon and living quarters. The former bridge areas are used as a workshop, paint store and rope store.
The current mooring has a very modest monthly charge and this may be available by arrangement with the local authorities, or the vessel could be towed to a new location.
This vessel could appeal to those looking for a "sea change", as a live aboard, as a commercial venture, as a project to futher improve or as a going concern. Most of the hard work has been done so please contact the broker to arrange a personal inspection which is strictly by appointment only.
