Did you know?
Marine grade 5083 aluminium has a working life of around 100 years.
Did you know?
Aluminium corrodes differently to steel.
It is common knowledge that unprotected steel will rust when it comes into contact with oxygen & water but did you know that the corrosion of aluminium results in a layer of oxidation that is airtight, rock hard & protective? As a result, anti-fouling and painting are not recommended for aluminium boats leading to lower maintenance costs.
