Broker's Comments
Here we have a now rare FB Wilds Bahama 42. (in the videos I do call it CARIBBEAN 39).
These large, spacious boats are now getting very few and far between. This particular example benefits from both bow and stern thrusters fitted, by her owner of the last 15 years.
She has two dedicated sleeping cabins one double and one a twin, two separate heads compartments one with a shower, a large saloon that converts to a large double and also opens on to a large forward well.
The aft cabin has been set up as a kind of utility room with a small washing machine and work space and storage but could easily be converted back to a cabin or similar.
She has a full 240v shore power system fitted, warm air diesel heating, large solar panels and an inverter system.
She has Perkins diesel engine that has been regularly serviced and this started and ran as it should. The galley runs down the starboard side and has a full size cooker, large Shoreline fridge and storage cupboards.
Her Boat Safety Certificate runs to March 2027, and her Broads toll is paid.
Her mooring could be available to the new owner by agreement with the marina owner.
This boat is not perfect and has been improved here and there over the years however, some of this work has been done to an OK standard but to my eye could do with being done a little better. However, this is all superficial and cosmetic in nature.
To have both bow and stern thrusters is super nice to have on a boat of this size to ensure excellent manoeuvrability.
She also benefits from front and rear canopies and a full set of window covers.
If you are looking for a large liveaboard boat then this should fit the bill nicely.
