Boatshed Plymouth Covid-19 Update - We Are Still Here...

We hope that you are well and managing to stay safe. We are still here!

Although our local boatyards, marinas and sailing clubs are currently closed & on lockdown for the time being, we are still receiving many enquiries about the boats that we have for sale and also several requests to view them once the current Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted (lots of people are now at home with additional time on their hands to get online).

The Boatshed organisation is acutely aware of the challenges for everyone as the situation around Covid-19 (Coronavirus) develops. Our first responsibility is for the safety of our customers and team. Boatshed offices are following the UK Government’s advice on managing Covid-19 and the restrictions on Non-essential Travel and Social Distancing.

Whilst we are unable to carry out physical viewings during the current “lock down” period, we are open for business as normal in so far as dealing with all enquiries. We are doing all we can to give our customers and potential buyers as much information as possible, on any of the boats we have listed and hopefully with our online pictures and videos etc., we can still satisfy enquiries and support buyer interest.

Boatshed has led the way in online boat sales and so we are well prepared to continue. Boatshed technology and processes have been developed specifically for remote working and selling boats at a distance. We are still seeing a sustained level of online viewing and receiving offers for our boats. Our technology, marketing and efforts continue unabated during these difficult times.

For those customers who are thinking of selling, we can still list your boat without visiting you or your boat. We can contact you and use the information you may have to create a temporary listing, which we can update once restrictions are lifted and which will enable you to market your boat at a time we see is busy with buyers viewing online.

We will continue to work hard for our clients selling their boat and customers searching for a boat. We will do everything we can to help with any query you may have. We will monitor the Government’s announcements closely for any changes.

We look forward to being back out on the ground and on the water as soon as the restrictions are loosened or lifted and it is safe to do so.

Keep well and stay safe.
