The Californian 34 LRC was built in California and was considerably ahead of its time as one of the first, modern planing "trawler" style yachts, which have become a popular concept. The hull and topsides are full molded fiberglass with no wood structure. The decks are fiberglass with no teak. The well-built, all fiberglass hull is designed for speed and stability and achieved an excellent reputation. This example was built by the designer's company, Marshall Boat Company. That company was purchased in 1982 by Wellcraft and in 1987 by Carver.

Waterline Boats / Boatshed did not independently verify capacities and measures, which are reported from seller-provided information and/or literature.

VIRTUAL TOUR - VIDEO - 80 TO 100 PHOTOS - FULL SPECS CAN BE VIEWED OF THIS VESSEL!

This twin-diesel Californian 34 LRC was built in California to a high standard. It was a modern boat for its time with full molded hull and topsides designed for planing speed and long range cruising. This particular example was previously operated as a charter salmon fishing boat in Alaska before being purchased by the current owner.

The cockpit layout is large, open above, and well suited for fishing. Downrigger mounts and wiring are already installed. Non-skid has been applied to all exterior decks and cap rails.

The interior can be entered from the cockpit through double doors into a roomy salon that combines galley and helm station. A starboard side door provide easy access to the exterior from the helm. Two sleeping compartments forward (including a large head and shower) accommodate six in a stylish 34 foot hull.

This boat offers a lot of fishing potential and live-ability at the fraction of the price for an equivalent boat.
