Broker's Comments
This RIB has only had two owners from new, stored under cover from Nov 19 to April 20 and ashore under cover every winter.
Hardly used for the last two years.
She is a very good example with a economical outboard ready to sail away.
"The Outboard E-TEC is a direct injection two-stroke system controlled by an engine management module.
Two-stroke direct injection motors (like the E-TEC) actually get better fuel economy compared to four-strokes. two-strokes tend to be more peppy than their four-stroke counterparts, since all cylinders are firing with every turn of the crankshaft, versus the four-stroke combustion process that is firing on only half of its cylinders for every rotation of the crank. That’s why four-strokes have traditionally been larger and heavier.
WHY IS EVINRUDE E-TEC TECHNOLOGY SO GOOD?
With blinding power and low emissions, BRP's 2-stroke direct injected Evinrude E-TEC outboard engines provide the best of both worlds. Evinrude E-TEC engines: produce 80% lower CO emissions than an idling four-stroke engine, use 50% less oil than a conventional direct-injection outboard engine, are quieter to operate and require little to no maintenance.BRP is the only marine manufacturer to win the EPA's Clean Air Technology Excellence Award for its Evinrude E-TEC outboard engines."
