Broker's Comments
I am very pleased to be able to offer this Classic and spacious Broom skipper in a fully updated condition. Her last but one owner, of some 17 years, has spared no expense in adding many modern features and making this a truly unique version of these popular and delightful boats. The boat has been fully modernised inside and out with a full refit over the last couple of years to bring her to a bright, clean and modern feel with all the facilities you would want for extended cruising in all weathers.
She boasts Eberspacher D4 diesel heating and a webasto warm water heating system to keep you cozy. From the moment you step aboard you will know this boat is different, from the bright and airy feel and fit out that maintains the great space and character these boats are known for.
The wheelhouse has had the old folding wooden sides replaced with a much simpler fully glazed all folding aluminium screen and sides to make this boat a breeze to handle and to enjoy open air cruising with access under all the Broads bridges. She has new helm and navigators pedestal seats and a new fuel tank recently fitted. She had a new prop-shaft cutlass bearing and shaft seal fitted and fresh antifoul in 2020.
She is in every sense ready to go cruising! The owner of of the last 12 months loves the boat dearly. However, motor-homing has become a higher direction of interest for his family so she is available to delight her new owner. Her Boat Safeety Certificate is valid to July 2023 and she is Broads toll paid to April 2022. Her mooring may lso be available by seperate discussion with the marina as the vendor is quitting boating.
If you are looking for a classic design that has been fully refitted to a high standard then look no further as this charming cruiser should tick all your boxes.
****The Video shows the old cockpit chairs as a new video to refelect the pedestal chairs is yet to be taken due to fuel availability. A full set of new Boatshed videos will be taken as soon as fuel can be obtained to get to the boat****
