Broker's Comments
Presented in superb condition this Hampton Safari Mk 2 is certainly a cut above.
The hull is finished in 2 pack paint and there is hardly a mark on her. She was out of the water 2012/2013 when the rudder and shaft were replaced and the hull polished and anti fouled. She was out of the water in 2016 for clean polish and re anti foul.
Externally she has had a Stainless steel pulpit and push pit fitted, high quality stainless steel cleats and stainless fore deck bollard. The sliding roof requires hardly any effort to open and close.
There are window covers (along with spares and a matching aft cockpit cover.
Internally she underwent a full professional refurb during 2008/9 and includes a Webasto warm air heating system, new aft galley and teak flooring. The helm instrumentation was also upgraded.
Because the engine is fitted in the aft the interior offers 2 saloon areas and ample seating with quality upholstery. A choice of 2 tables are available for use.
During the refurbishment all the windows were removed to be resealed and rebuilt.
Originally built for a private customer on the River Thames she won the "Tom Jones challenge shield" during the Thames Jubilee Rally for best boat over 25 foot !
She has a current Broads Licence until April 2019.
