Broker's Comments

The Jaguar range of yachts from 21' to 30' began life in the USA as Catalina Yachts, which are still popular today and still available in some modified form. Built in Canvey Island under the name Jaguar Yachts, from the 1970's to 1980's, it is reported that 1534 J21's were built and an active owner's association attests to their continued popularity.

This particular yacht has seen better days it is true, BUT, most signs are that this is mainly cosmetic and fixable by an enthusiastic owner. The lifting keel mechanism has been serviced and a new winch provided and her Tohatsu Four Stroke motor is recent and looks barely used. She could provide a new owner with sailing pleasure immediately and refit work could continue as the season progresses and a berth would be available to a new owner (there is currently a waiting list for berths but she could remain where she is until Sep and then another berth found for her at cost).
NB: She has been gifted by her present owner FOR SALE with all proceeds going to the RNLI.
