Broker's Comments
De Groot motorboats of Holland are highly sought for their design, pleasing lines and their quality construction and attention to detail. In my view, this boat is no exception and ticks all of those boxes.
The first thing I noticed as I approached this boat was her pleasing lines, lovely amount of usable deck space and how clean and tidy her appearance was. Her paintwork and all of her windows appeared to be in excellent condition giving her a very pleasing overall appearance which is a testament to her owners of the last 28 years.
This boat also has a really nice layout inside providing a large well equipped wheelhouse with plenty of seating and access via two large companionways on the port and starboard side.
The saloon galley area also has a very nice and bright feel to the area with lots of natural light flooding in through the large windows. There is also a large galley with hob, oven and microwave along with a large fridge freezer and the vessel is fitted with a heating system.
Heading aft there is a large master cabin with a full size double bed situated centrally which allows easy access to either side of the bed. The aft cabin also has an en-suite heads with toilet, shower and a bath tub. There is also a small sink and vanity mirror.
This vessel does need some finishing off but from what I could see most of the work was of a cosmetic nature. The expensive messy jobs such as the spray foam insulation has already been done with just the re-application of the headings and some panel work to bring her back to a finished standard.
All in all this vessel felt very sturdy, well laid out, she was clean and tidy and appeared to be very nicely painted. I'm sure she would make for a lovely river boat, coastal cruiser or liveaboard.
