Broker's Comments

Here is a firm favourite classic river cruiser that has a loyal following. This particular Freeman 24 Mk4 has been cruised extensively on the Norfolk Broads and offers the typical Feeman classic quality construction. This is a very original boat that is ready to go and is powered by a particularly well running Watermota Sea Tiger petrol engine, which starts and runs very nicely. The owner was about to fit new carpet just after the pictures were taken.
She comes with her Broads toll to March 2021 and BSS to 2022. The boat is in original gel finish which is in excellent condition however would benefit from a compound and polish to give her back that wonderful shine.
The classic wooden interior is generally in good condition for her age with only a couple of areas that would benefit from minor re varnishing. The spacious cockpit is comfortable and has a good helm position and collapsible pilot seat with a bench to the rear on which to relax on those canopy-off summer days on the river. The semi hard top of this model and rear canopy give the best of both worlds for all weather cruising. The large skylight in the hard top will give an airy feel on hot days and ample protection when its not such nice weather. All in all this is a very nice example of these classic cruisers that will deliver a lot of fun on the river for a minimal cost, while enjoying a well respected and highly popular river cruiser. Early viewing is reccomended as these craft sell very quickly.
