Plymouth's Sutton Harbour welcomes the iconic star of Hollywood movies, HMS Bounty.

HMS Bounty featured most recently in Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean – Dead Mans Chest with Johnny Depp and earlier in Mutiny on the Bounty with Marlon Brando in 1962.

Arriving a week ahead of schedule HMS Bounty was guided to her berth on Quay Road by Sutton Harbour Master, Pete Bromley.

Charlotte Malcolm, Commercial Marketing Manager, Sutton Harbour

“We are extremely pleased to be the first to receive The Bounty on her European Tour. The Barbican and Harbour area promises to be a very busy place over the next week or so culminating with ‘Plymouth Pirate Days’ on May 21st and 22nd. The Bounty marks the first of many events located at Sutton Harbour over the summer period and we hope it will be a resounding success for all involved.”
