Broker's Comments
First impressions? Nice comfortable cruiser this – from the old school, with a nice aft cabin, “dinette” style saloon and a good roomy wheelhouse.
To me she seems to almost fit into the “gentleman’s motor yacht” category, with her elegant lines and classic look. The wheelhouse is well laid out and the helm position looks pretty secure.
The present owner has spent a great deal of time and money bringing her up to her present high standard of presentation, including new joinery, refurbished galley, new upholstery, new carpets and new teak after decking.
Plenty of headroom, light and airy, she will be a great home from home for couples wishing to go on extended cruises - she should fit through most of the inland waterways system in France. Leisurely trip down to the Med anyone?
I recommend that you come and see for yourself – she is a lovely boat, and her pedigree makes her worth the effort!
The 36 hull was designed by Robert Tucker, and Colin Chapman (the Lotus bloke) had a hand in the superstructure after he took over the yard later on.
