Broker's Comments
The Morgan Giles 30 has a good reputation for sea keeping qualities. Built to Lloyds exacting standards, it is renowned for safe, swift, passage making, has great lines & is pretty to look at too.
A classic family cruiser/racer with long keel, this example is set up for short/single handed sailing. The lines lead aft to the cockpit and there is an Aries Self Steering Wind Vane fitted.
Practical and cozy down below, the interior has a traditional wooden finish with a Taylors paraffin heater for warmth. There are berths for 5. The forward cabin has a double berth (or two singles), the saloon has two singles (with lee cloths) that can be converted into a double and there’s a quarter/pilot berth situated behind a forward facing nav station.
This seaman’s yacht has made trips to North Spain, Wales, Scillies & France and I’m sure would like to do many more. The topsides have been recently repainted, the hull is freshly anti-fouled and the engine has been serviced. What are you waiting for?
