Broker's Comments
These classic cruiser racers designed by Peter & Charles Nicholson with hulls laid by Halmatic, were very strongly built and have excellent seakeeping qualities.
Popular as a reliable take you anywhere offshore cruiser, they are great value for money and give peace of mind in challenging conditions.
Although this example has completed many long voyages over the years, for the last few she has been stationary and used mainly as a live aboard in the Plymouth area.
The engine has had little recent use and requires a good service, whilst the cockpit cover, although fairly new, needs a quick repair. Other than this, the traditional large stand up Nav table (with plenty of room for charts) has a good Nav fit as does the cockpit. The accommodation is well laid out with a galley opposite the nav station, a three burner gas cooker, plenty of headroom and comfortable seating.
The owner, who is retiring from sailing due to ill health, would love to see his yacht provide a good home to a good sailor.
