Broker's Comments

This rugged ketch rigged motorsailer offers a great opportunity to buy a strong and spacious live aboard at a fraction of the price that she could be worth after a season of hard work.

Yes, this is currently a project and, quite a challenging one at that, but this vessel is very dry inside (even after the recent appalling weather) and could in theory be lived on whilst completing the project. There is a vast amount of living space, excellent headroom throughout and practically a blank canvas for creating your own vision of how you would like her to look.

The long ballast keel & bilge plates will allow her to sit comfortably on a drying berth or mooring. The wheel house offers full protection from the elements whilst offering good all round visibility. The owner has advised that, although the engine hasn’t been run up for some time, it was working well before the boat was lifted ashore.

Although the current boatyard doesn’t offer live aboard facilities, there are plenty of boatyards in the area that do.

It is worthwhile having a look at other Roamer 36s to gauge some idea of what they can look like and what they are worth when completed.
