To star in a movie or be on a TV show is a dream that does not often come true.

For MV Meavy and her owner this opportunity has just come true!

Twenty Twenty Television is making a programme for Channel 4 and required a solidly built wooden vessel that their presenter and inventor Tom Lawton could work on as part of the programme. Stephen Grimshaw from Boatshed Plymouth was contacted by the TV company and brokered the sale of MV Meavy for her owner, Ken Bridge.

Ken is a well known local fisherman, ferryman, shipwright, and has a wealth of knowledge about the Plymouth area, so will also feature in the TV production.
