Broker's Comments
Well, this lovely Westerly Griffon has had some serious upgrades and improvements carried out under the present ownership (£15k+ over the last 6 years).
Already blessed with a modern Beta engine, new batteries have been fitted along with new cables and a new engine control panel. The hull has been grit blasted, epoxied and copper coated and on deck the standard rigging and furlex has been replaced, as have the flat pack/lazy jacks and reefing lines which are led back to the cockpit. The navigation fit has been much upgraded and the battery charging system too.
Down below the headlining and upholstery have been renewed. Ports and hatches have been replaced where necessary, there is good headroom throughout and she is clean, dry, neat and tidy.
The Westerly Griffon was built to be a little more plush, spacious and speedy than the legendary Centaur. This is a much loved example. Don't miss the boat.
