Broker's Comments
The Bull 7000 was designed as a cruising yacht first and foremost that could be sailed by two people and could accommodate two adults and two children. It was also designed to race with 3 crew and a big emphasis was put into designing a lot of form stability and having a low centre of gravity. The hull shape is very contemporary even by today’s standards. With its Open class style hull shape, the Bull 7000 is still one of the fastest reaching sports yachts available and still one of world’s few true cruiser/racers this size. This particular Bulll 7000 was originally owned by the designer Greg Young and has been well maintained by the current owner. I am told that she will sail at 19 knots, so hang on to your hats!
Some of the special Bull 7000 features are:
1 Bull sprit spinnaker system, still the simplest, fun and versatile way to sail fast downwind.
2 Built in retractable bulb keel (no keel gantry).
3 Fold away outboard motor system. No drag and safely out of the way when sailing.
4 Comfortable cockpit design with seat backs and foot rests. Full width recessed main traveller
5 Twin companionways – ideal for spinnaker hoists and standing at galley or toilet or simply a great place to sit out of the wind.
6 Single winch system for all halyards and sheets.
7 Large volume cabin design with forward hatch.
8 Large full size double bed aft, galley bench stove and sink, toilet space, V shaped dinette/berths
9 Mast can be raised without a crane, trailable and easily handled.
If you are looking for a fast cruiser/racer yacht that is all ready to go for the season, then this should tick your boxes.
