Broker's Comments
The Kingfisher 30 yacht has a proven track record for safe ocean going passage making. Chay Blyth sailed one to the Cape and back! She is much heavier than a modern 30 footer with sheet steel bilge plates to give her extra stability and also provide a much more comfortable ride. This particular example has been well cared for and would provide a great family cruising boat for a very modest price. She has an raised aft deck area which is excellent for lounging in the sun, casting a line and watching the world go by.
A deep cockpit and wide side decks make her easy to get around, and the bilge plate profile allows you to take advantage of the cheaper moorings and drying harbours. The decks have been freshly painted.
I thoroughly recommend a visit to this boat.
