Broker's Comments
The Seawolf 30, also known as the Cobra S900/5, has a reputation as a popular cruiser and quick club racer, but also suited very well as a tidy family cruiser. She appears to be in good condition with all lines leading back to the cockpit.
The owners inform me that there is a new tiller pilot that comes with the boat that has never been used.
This boat has undergone a number of improvements and upgrades, especially below decks. The current owners told me that the previous owner was a very skilled carpenter and he literally transformed the boat inside. This can be clearly seen from the pictures and video on the listing. She appears to have been meticulously maintained and updated.
The boat benefits from having new carpets and upholstery throughout and some lovely attention to her woodwork.
The galley is well apportioned and also benefits from a very smart-looking gas-fired, gimballed oven with a two-ring burner hob and grill.
The deck needs some TLC and would benefit from a fresh coat of grip paint in places. But the A-frame fitted to the cockpit appears to be a very substantial setup and accommodates a large solar panel which allows the boat to take extended passages and be off-grid.
The cockpit is large, deep and roomy with all lines leading back to the cockpit, which also benefits from a large sprayhood which appears to be in good condition and is fitted with a large window section for excellent visibility and safety.
This boat has also been re-engined and is fitted with a Beta engine, which is considered by many to be one of the most reliable marine engines in the industry.
The hull appears to be in good condition, and as you can see from the photos, there is a good shine to the hull in places, and I think that a good buff and polish of the hull could transform her topsides.
An early viewing of this boat is highly recommended.
